Special Issue Introduction
Cervical cancer is the fourth most common malignancy among women worldwide and remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality, with 85% of cases occurring in developing countries. In recent years, significant progress has been made in treatment strategies, including diverse surgical approaches, fertility-sparing surgeries, advanced radiotherapy techniques, systemic chemotherapy, and novel therapeutics such as anti-angiogenic agents, immune checkpoint inhibitors, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). These advances have broadened treatment options and improved patient outcomes, but they also pose new challenges for developing integrated, multimodal, and personalized treatment strategies. This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for sharing the latest clinical and translational research dedicated to advancing cervical cancer treatment. We welcome submissions in various formats - including original research articles, reviews, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, guidelines, commentaries, editorials, letters to the editor, opinions, and perspectives - that focus on comprehensive, precise, and individualized approaches to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cervical cancer.
