Special Issue Introduction
It is both a pleasure and an honor to celebrate the 10th anniversary of OAE Publishing Inc. Founded a decade ago with the mission of advancing the dissemination of cutting-edge science in a multidisciplinary setting, OAE has become a respected force in academic publishing. As editors and associate editors of Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR), we have witnessed its growth from the early stages into a recognized platform for peer-reviewed literature in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery. Under the strong leadership of its Editors and Editorial Board, the journal has expanded to include more than 80 members from 16 countries and has published 12 volumes comprising over 600 articles, many of which have left a lasting impact on the field. OAE has also pioneered multinational webinars, connecting experts worldwide to exchange knowledge in the field of reconstructive surgery. Guided by its long-term vision, OAE aspires to become a century-old institution dedicated to advancing scientific progress.
To mark this milestone, OAE Publishing is hosting a week-long webinar series showcasing the latest and most innovative advances in reconstructive surgery. Topics will include free tissue transfer, breast reconstruction, and more. Featuring panels of internationally recognized experts, these sessions promise dynamic discussions on the key issues shaping the future of the field. More details are available at: PAR Webinars.
For this Special Issue, we warmly invite researchers, clinicians, and experts worldwide to submit their manuscripts. Contributions may cover, but are not limited to, plastic and aesthetic materials, plastic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery, microsurgery, laser treatments, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmoplasty, dentistry, psychology, social ethics, and medical disciplines associated with postoperative complications of plastic surgery. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and inspiring the next decade of innovation in plastic and aesthetic research.
