Soft Science is an open-access journal dedicated to innovative and interdisciplinary research in soft materials and devices. The journal covers the mechanisms, design, properties, fabrication, and applications of soft materials, structures, electronics, and systems, including soft matter, liquid metals, gels, elastomers, polymers, biomaterials, flexible and bioinspired structures, soft and wearable electronics, sensors and actuators, energy devices, soft robotics, smart skins, human–machine interfaces, and advanced fabrication technologies.
